I can predict almost for sure that in 2016:
- >50% of LinkedIn users online would be bored office staff disinterested in their current jobs and scrolling posts to look busy
- 1 out 2 ads (read sponsored posts) flashed on user’s feed on LinkedIn will be not related to his/her interests, yet advertisers will keep paying through their nose hoping to get “direct” access to relevant audience.
- Many idiots will still continue responding (with their mobile numbers) & connecting to fake posts on LinkedIn -created by fake profiles with beautiful girl’s profile picture -promising jobs all over the world.
- Desperate job seekers will spend more time on LinkedIn for browsing “Who viewed my profile” & Job posts instead of searching for more leads and partners for their companies. Desperate Head hunters will keep ignoring users who apply for their jobs on LinkedIn and keep looking for the right fit “passive” profiles.
- Only 20% of users of LinkedIn, will still continue to use LinkedIn effectively for posting views, hiring, networking and generating leads, for their business – rest of 80% will continue to read these posts to pass their time
